1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LegalAdviser, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. Nature of Service

LegalAdviser utilizes artificial intelligence (Google Gemini, Claude, and ChatGPT models) to provide information and guidance regarding Ugandan law (including the Constitution, Acts of Parliament, and Statutory Instruments).

3. User Responsibilities & Age Policy

There are no specific age restrictions to use LegalAdviser, provided that the user is competent enough to understand and utilize the platform appropriately. You agree to use the service in compliance with the Computer Misuse Act, 2011 and other relevant Ugandan laws. You must not:

Use the platform to generate fraudulent legal documents.
Attempt to reverse engineer the AI models or prompts.
Harass, threaten, or impersonate others using our voice features.

4. Subscription, Billing, and Refund Policy

We offer both free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions and token purchases are billed securely via Stripe or Pawapay (Mobile Money) compliant with the National Payment Systems Act, 2020.

Refund Policy: All purchases (tokens and subscriptions) are strictly non-refundable. However, if there is a verified technical issue with our billing system that results in an error, we will issue a refund in the form of tokens or voice minutes equivalent to the affected amount (monetary refunds are not provided).

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ugandan law, LegalAdviser shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of the service.

6. Governing Law & Contact
